   At least here in Germany, the Roaring Twenties (or: The Golden Twenties,     
   as they are called in Germany) start at ~1924, not at 1920.   
      
   That's because at first, World War I wasn't that long ago and recovery was     
   still going on and second, the economy collapsed because of hyper-    
   inflation.   
   Also the political system changed from monarchy to democracy, which also     
   had to settle first - and was constantly in danger...   
      
   So I hope that it won't take that long in this century :)
