Hello Scott!              21 Jan 11 17:10, you wrote to me:               VC>> What distro and version including i86 or x64        VC>> also what Gcc compiler are you using?                      > Gentoo [last emerge was about 30 days ago]               > gcc 4.3.4 p1.1        > i686 on a P4 ( -arch=native )               VC>> Has all your changes been documented?               > Not documented as well as I would for a CVS update, but I usually        > write fairly clean code [ie, readable].               > Tell me what you would like to see, and I'll send it over.              1. Well in the Mbse Changelog specified by original source version as well as        your updated ver. no. What functional changes made to what programs or        modules.              2. In the source code inline comments showing your changes with fault        fixed/new functionality added etc              3. Modules Changelog if present added comments with more details similar to        2.              4. What system testing you did to verify your mods and to verify your changes        has NOT affected anything else where ever possible. Yes I know this one is a        bit more involved but can be shown by running modified version over a period.               > Also, does this mean you have taken over the role of maintainer for        > MBSE? Being on the original development team, I seem to be out of the        > loop.              Yes, along with Andrew (so far), trying to fix the odd bug and add more        functionality where essentual.              I hold the current version in source as at (0.95.10) where the last digit        shows build number within version. I must load up subversion for external        linking as soon as I figure out how to do so.              At the momemt I have one bug that I cannot trace with mbdiff rejecting       nodediffs as failing the CRC checks, can't see why its code as no changes have        been made but all the same most puzzling.              Vince              --- Linux/Mbse/GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5        * Origin: Air Applewood, The Linux Gateway to the UK (2:250/1)    |
