   Have you setup a virtual comport in dosemu? I believe you need to add a few   
   lines at the beginning of the dosemu.conf:   
      
   ifdev u_virtual   
     serial { virtual com 1 }   
   endif   
      
   Unless you specify it directly on the command line.
