   Thanks for everyone replying.   
      
   Looks safe to do, now to figger out what distro to use, but will try a few    
   under   
   VB first, once I clear out some more space on my main drive over to the raid    
   and   
   no I do not have the courage to use the raid for the services.   
      
   Don't think I have that much patience waiting for things to happen like boot!
