   Hello RJ!

05 Dec 11 15:27, you wrote to me:

   this should be 0.15
   Then select your user name

Similar to mine ok, on 4 I use 32000

Select 14 and reset it, what do you then get as I get 1440, which is what I
would expect for my sysop settings.

You need to look at the security settings for all users.
eg, 0.8.1 then 7 for sysop:

   I have:

   8.1 EDIT SECURITY LIMIT

        1. Access Level 32000
        2. Maximum Time 1440
        3. Download Kb. 0
        4. Download Files 0
        5. Description Sysop
        6. Available Yes
        7. Deleted No

Note option 2. and this is what when going into the setting for user via
0.15.(your user name) and sub-option 14 (it offers to reset left for today)
should go back to the value in 8.1 as above.

    > Note that when I select option 14, all that allows me to do is
    > "Reset Time left for today Y/n"; if I answer "Y", that still leaves
    > it at a "0", which is where it was I went in... What should it be
    > getting reset to? The max for that user type?

See above the value you have for sysop in my case 32000 but you 32030

If this still does not work, change sysop security back to 32000 and try again
as you may well be hitting a max. limit for security numbers within the mbse
   code.
