       MBSE crashes and I suspect it's because the glibc it was compiled against   
   is much older than what the system it's currently running on.  If I wasn't   
   clear;  the system itself has been upgraded to the current Debian stable (v7)   
   but MBSE (plus another FTN related program) had not been as yet.  One of the   
   main reasons I decided to work on debian packaging for MBSE is so I could do   
   an upgrade of it.  That would also make it possible to (fairly) easily upgrade   
   it to newer version but the main reason was to be able to keep the installed   
   version current with the installed version of the OS.

      Not sure what you're referring to there.  Note that I do plan to add debug   
   capabilities to the debian packaging I'm doing, but I'm not going to be able   
   to work on that as soon as I'd like.

       That sounds more like a personal philosophy than anything related to best
