|    Active MBSE BBS program update    |

All,               I've been starting to see more and more issues with the MBSE BBS instance on       my Hub system (1:120/544); so far the example issues (i.e.; crashes) have been       with mbsebbs or mbsetup. I suspect it's related to that the instance of MBSE       BBS running on that system was originally compiled against glibc v2.3 quite       awhile ago, when I first started using MBSE BBS, but the system it's running       on has changed and is running on glibc v2.11 (Debian v7).               So what I'm planning to do is to update that instance of MBSE BBS with a       newer build of the version (v0.92.0) that I've been running there, but       installing and using the debian package that's available instead of trying to       do an in place compile of it again.        Since it's a active hub node, I'm not quite certain how I'm going to do the       changeover. May just: stop it, rename the base directory, move the existing       init.d & xinetd.d scripts out of the way, install the debian package, then see       about getting that to work with the old config and other files...                                   Jame              --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag        * Origin: Rocasa BBS (1:120/546)    |
