MSGID: 2:250/1@fidonet 62a3271a       CHRS: UTF-8 2       TZUTC: 0100       TID: MBSE-FIDO 1.0.8 (Linux-x86_64)       Hello All!              I have posted this in the echo some time back, but now it is getting        dangerous.              Using file group control in mbsetup via 10.1 I now have multiple copies of       MAINFRAME area - see screen shot. Only a few minutes earlier I had four copies       of group LNX4 which I was trying to delete and finally did it only for 2        copies       of area MAINFRAME.              mbsetup is now totally messing up one or more (mbse) data files for which        there       is no recovery.              This started (again) when I decided to clean up my File Groups removing the       dead groups as per FILEGATE.ZXX and inactive.txt              So having had to go through each downlink and remove all from the various        areas       such as APPLEMAC, BBSSCENE, BFDS, BBBS, PASCAL FDN, SFDS, SDS, STN, TABLETS,       TAURUS, W32BINKD, WINS FDN, LNX4, HAM, GED WIN FDN and ODDBALL. Then going       through removing the group areas, I ending up with four copies of LNX4.              Then removing those (and yes I suspected the LNX4 name overwrote the original       group names) and exited mbsetup, followed by reloading it I found two copies        of       MAINFRAME.              I posted a screen grab of this display when posting the bug report.              This is NOT the first time I have had this issue but also with 1.0.7.24 and       possibly an earlier version - just cannot remember what one.              This issue on v1.0.8 on Linux Mageia v8 X64.       I have no idea what other areas it has over written with all this and exiting       mbsetup and reloading does not help.              Has there been some coding changes to the file group table and file processing       from 1.0.7.22 onwards ?              I can not risk any more attempts of removing or even adding a new file       groups to the system and will avoid even adding new file areas on a JIC basis.              File group set up's is as sick as a parrot - - .              Vincent              --- Mageia Linux v8 X64/Mbse v1.0.8/GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-b20180707        * Origin: Air Applewood, The Linux Gateway to the UK & Eire (2:250/1)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 123 15/0 18/0 200 25/0 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/201       SEEN-BY: 120/340 123/0 10 25 131 180 200 755 124/5016 129/305 330       SEEN-BY: 129/331 135/300 153/757 7715 154/10 30 40 50 700 203/0 218/700       SEEN-BY: 220/90 221/0 6 222/2 226/18 30 227/114 201 229/110 111 112       SEEN-BY: 229/113 206 317 400 424 426 428 452 470 550 664 700 240/1120       SEEN-BY: 240/5832 250/0 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 11 12 263/0 266/512 275/1000       SEEN-BY: 280/464 5003 282/1038 292/854 8125 299/6 301/1 317/3 320/219       SEEN-BY: 322/757 341/234 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58 633/267 280       SEEN-BY: 633/281 412 416 509 712/848 1321 770/1 2320/105 2452/250       SEEN-BY: 3634/0 12 15 27 50 119 5020/1042       PATH: 250/1 3634/12 154/10 280/464 633/280 229/426           |
