   If I remember correctly, last time I did a test build on ubuntu, it    
   required a "sudo bash"  then in that shell, do the make install.   
      
   You can also verify that the environment came along that way (this    
   example from memory):   
      
   	~:sudo bash   
   	... password stuff here...   
      
   	# echo $MBSE_ROOT   
   	/opt/mbse   
      
   	# make install   
   	... much output ...   
      
      
   See how that works out.
