   Thanks for the advice. I will be testing both options in a vm while I gather   
   the hardware. Going for the pi solution and external hdd. But also studyin   
   assembly for c64 because i have a wild hair   
   to create a new game for that retro system.   
      
   And, so it goes i have too many hobbies.
