All,   
      
       Not too long ago, the system where this node is hosted had an outage,    
   which   
   I hadn't thought had resulted in any particular problems.   (One reason I was   
   worried, though,  is because they use reiserfs for the hosted systems, for    
   some   
   reason.)    
       I thought it hadn't had any affect but now I'm not so sure.  Twice now,   
   MBBS has crashed with something like the following error when I attempted to   
   reply to messages:   
      
   *** glibc detected *** -mbsebbs: free(): invalid next size (normal):    
   0x08901190   
    ***   
      
      Has anyone seen any errors like this before?  I am going to see if doing   
   maintenance on the message base helps with the problem...  (Though I already   
   have maintence running daily...)
