Hello All!              I was trying to install a opdated version of mbsebbs on a new pc, after I had       visit http://www.mbse.eu/       And yes there was something new here, the homepage was been updated in 2011       and with new mercadian of mbsebbs and the site was changed from the old one.       It look like Michiel is on working on mbsebbs again.              But after I have download the latest mercadian version of mbsebbs and then for       my gentoo 64bit 3.84MHz pc has installed xinetd and netkit-telnetd by emerge       by Gentoo, I installed mbsebbs by the normal way.        Download as user root to /tmp directory       tar xfvj mbsebbs-*.tar.bz2        cd in to mbsebbs-* directory       sh ./SETUP.sh       done this things to do as root       So root is making user and group setup mbse.bbs       then change mbsebbs-*.tar.bz2 file to be a permission for mbse.bbs       copy the file to the new directory /opt/mbse/       on another consol login as mbse.bbs       tar xjvf mbsebbs-*.tar.bz2       cd into mbsebbs-* created directory       run ./configure       run make       su to root       pwd for root       run make install              Then is the system saying that it not could find command eebegin in       /init.d/mbsebbs line 37 and eestart in line 49.                             Take care,        Gert               - Get the best with linux -               --- Msged/LNX 6.2.0 (Linux/2.6.33-gentoo-r2 (x86_64))        * Origin: KofoBBS at ftp://fido1.kofobbs.net (2:230/150)    |
