With that in hand and the source code handy, I       think I've got things working. To make sure I understand how things       work (and in case it's useful for anyone else):              While MBSE will automatically create file areas, it *will not*       automatically create file groups. For an area to be automatically       created from the filegate.zxx file, you must first have the       appropriate file group defined in your MBSE configuration.              For a file group listed in filegate.zxx like this:               % FDN: Fidonet Administrative files              You must have a file group defined with a matching comment. That is,       something along the lines of:               1. Name FIDO_ADM        2. Comment Fidonet Administrative files         3. Base path /opt/mbse/ftp/pub/fidoadmin         4. Use Aka 1:322/761@fidonet         5. Uplink 1:322/759@fidonet         6. Areas filegate.zxx               You must have "Start at" set to a non-zero value, and you must have       "Auto chng" set to "Yes". The "Areas" line for all of your groups can       point to "filegate.zxx".              With all this in place, running "mbfido tic" now produces:               Processing AP01DG00.TIC, NODEDIFF.Z84 area DIFFZIP from 1:322/759+        27-Mar-2011 20:19:20 mbfido[95901] +- by ALLFIX+, v6.00.019        Copyright (C) 1992,2009 by Bob Seaborn (1:140/30)        8.3 name "NODEDIFF.Z84", LFN "nodediff.z84"        file end at 306008, offset needed 305702        Create empty FDB for area 1001        Auto created TIC area DIFFZIP, group FIDOADMIN, bbs area 1001, for        node 1:322/759@fidonet        No active virus scanners, skipping scan        Execute: /usr/local/bin/unzip -o -j /opt/mbse/var/inbound/NODEDIFF.Z84        FILE_ID.DIZ        Execute: /usr/local/bin/unzip -o -j /opt/mbse/var/inbound/NODEDIFF.Z84        file_id.diz        Execute: /bin/rm -r -f arc95901        Import: NODEDIFF.Z84 (nodediff.z84) Area: DIFFZIP              -- Lars                     --- MBSE BBS v0.95.12d1 (FreeBSD-x86_64)        * Origin: The Odd Bit (1:322/761@fidonet)    |
