Hello All!              I have reinstall a new system on my fido2 pc with Gentoo and this is now       changed from using eth0 to enp2s0 in interface card and after installing       xinetd is xinetd not start in reason of it like to use the old eth0 so my mbse       it not right working self if it polls out but not running right as it should       for the telnet connection to get the sysop as first user for mbsebbs and linux       user.       I have tried to find out where I in linux config files shall change eth0 to be       enp2s0.       There is then 2 choise there is either.       1. make linux use the old eth0       2. get changed xinetd to use enp2s0 instead of eth0.              It is just the newuse of interface keep going changed eth0 to enp2s0 and       change it again to eth0, self if I try to make linux to keep it to be eth0.               Take care,        Gert               - Get the best with linux -               --- Msged/LNX 6.2.0 (Linux/2.6.39-gentoo-r1 (x86_64))        * Origin: * One bird in hand is better than 10 on the roof * (2:230/150)    |
