Hello Jeff!              Saturday February 27 2016 14:46, you wrote to All:               > Hello everybody.               > Is there a way to set line length or word-wrap in BBBS's HTML        > message editor? I usually enter/reply to messages in BBBS using        > it's HTML interface. Often times the line length seems only limited        > by the screen width when reading the posted message on the receiving        > end. And example would be this versus my previous message posted.               > I have tried pressing [Enter] to indicate an end to the line of text        > and doing so does terminate the line and starts a new line as desired.        > But, when reading the message at the recieving end none of the lines        > were actually terminated as desired.                     This echo is not the best area to get advise about another BBS system.              As for having issues with the SETUP.sh script having created a mbse user -              You (as root) or superuser remove user mbse and group bbs and any directories       that it has created as they will be more than likely in the wrong place.              Read the install notes at least two times and then follow the procedures as       shown.              If you have problems then come back to us.       Should point out I do not use ubuntu for the bbs but I do have it instaled on       my media system as 14.04.01 along with mythtv (mythbuntu).              Small point never but never use/install a NEW version of a distro but let it       get around a bit for at least 8 weeks. Personally I always give it 3 months       unless I am building a test system or environment.              But there again I have been in the computer business since 1963 so got the       tea-shirt (and the shirt factory) !                     Vince              --- Mageia Linux v5/Mbse v1.0.6/GoldED+/LNX 1.1.501-b20150715        * Origin: Air Applewood, The Linux Gateway to the UK (2:250/1)    |
