   of course it is... FTN does not (thankfully!) incorporate any P2P c4rp... if   
   you want P2P, then you aren't looking at FTN stuffs... maybe in the future if   
   someone developes a P2P protocol for FTN, documents it and makes it widely   
   available where other FTN systems pick it up and start using it...   
      
   frankly, i cannot see P2P being used for FTN message transfers ever... that   
   because each packet is specific to each individual system... if you want to   
   try to brainstorm something like this, the NET_DEV echo is available... be   
   prepared to post documentation on the operation and also develop and make   
   availabe binaries for testing... i won't even mention embedding this in an   
   existing mailer so that others can easily acquire and use the new method...
