   Hi Vince,

VC> 1. Well in the Mbse Changelog specified by original source version as
VC> well as your updated ver. no. What functional changes made to what
   VC> programs or modules.

   Summary of Changes I've made:
   1) across nearly every executable: corrected compiler warnings during the
'inlineing' of snprintf due to very bad code practices; i.e. using some
   random
number for the max string length verses actually using the length.

   2) this corrected my issues with mbdiff that I caused a crash, as well as
numerous bbs faults that exceptioned out.

   3) corrected some minor bugs with lib/nntp.c (memset on line 252 was using
   wrong variable)

   4) New feature: during the creation of a new Netmail; the name entered is
searched in the nodelist for a match, all matches are presented to the user
   for
entry. ( see lib/nodelist.c and mbsebbs/email.c, also added a couple of
entries into the language files - the non-English ones need translating,
   entries 480 and 481 )

VC> 2. In the source code inline comments showing your changes with fault
   VC> fixed/new functionality added etc

I didn't document them in code -- this is the third time I've had to make the
same updates. I gave up documenting them; however, I've noted that for future
   changes.

VC> 4. What system testing you did to verify your mods and to verify your
   VC> changes
VC> has NOT affected anything else where ever possible. Yes I know this one is
VC> bit more involved but can be shown by running modified version over a
   VC> period.

I have my own BBS runing this code, as well as my experimental side - neither
   show ill effects.

VC> At the momemt I have one bug that I cannot trace with mbdiff rejecting
VC> nodediffs as failing the CRC checks, can't see why its code as no changes
VC> have been made but all the same most puzzling.
   --------------------

Scott has given me a updated version with his and my patches. I am now running
this version as 0.95.11 for the next few weeks to see if it has fixed a
problem and more importantly does create any more (problems/bugs, I mean).

I will let you all know in a couple of weeks but after the new month change
   over.

After that I will make it available via my ftp link.

P.S. There is one additional change that just updates the copyright date to
   2011.

   Vince
