|    Stupid people    |

Some time ago, the great Christopher Hitchens (top 1 percent of English       speaking people in IQ) appeared on the Bill Maher program and ended up       flipping off Maher's audience of mindless sheep. That little segment made       news; what didn't make news was the more important segment after the pitiful       Maher made a joke about GWB's IQ - for the fifth time that night.              This is a paraphrase - but an accurate one - of what Hitchens said to him.              "Was that a Bush IQ joke? You've made five of those tonight, and you know       what? It's the joke stupid people laugh at, such as those booing and mooing       in your audience (they boo and he flips them off again). It's the joke of       dumb people who think they can show themselves to be smarter than the       President of United States. (He points to the audience). None of these       people is smarter than the president."              This point needs to be underscored and often, because liberalism is full of       grist for stupid people. When you think about the laughable likes of Otto       or Fat Fuck, does the word "intelligent" spring to mind? Of course not, so       you expect certain things from them, namely 1) Bush is stupid comments and       2) second form verbiage like "tea bagger" 3) fatuous charges of racism when       they begin to lose an argument and 4) constant accusations of lying when       there are no lies on the table. People like Otto and Klan can wrap their       little minds around these trivial things easily whereas the bigger, more       important things like political theory and public policy evade them. Can       you imagine for one second trying to engage Otto or Fat Fuck in a calm       discussion of Thomas Paine or Thomas Jefferson? Karl Marx? Georges       Sorrels? Herbert Marcuse?              Today, Fat Fuck made the ridiculous claim that Karl Rove is reponsible for       the deaths of 4,000 Americans. I know dozens of Gold Star parents, and not       one of us believes for a second that Rove had anything to do with the death       of our sons.              --- Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5931        * Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0)    |
