|    makenl daily problem help.    |

Hello Gert!              20 Mar 14 10:20, you wrote to All:               GA> I have it in my daily making nodelist where the daily making using        GA> directories as /dmaster and /dzone but I could better like that it using        GA> the normail directories for weekly nodelist making. This so when incoming        GA> segment from rc's is been getting to the right use and the daily making        GA> too using /master and /zone.               GA> Then that either 'makenl region' and 'makenl dXzone' rename or copy latest        GA> segment to right day or just using the latest segment, but if there is gor        GA> in a new segment then import this one and use it.               GA> As I have it now is makenl zone sometimes said there is a zone file        GA> allready and not can make a new one.               What you are asking may be quite complicated. Makenl is designed to work        in a weekly cycle. With some trickery you can make a daily list, but that        disturbs the working directories of the weeklies as you have found.               But I am not qualified to give a real answer, I would have to study the        source code, I will leave that to those whoe are more familear with the        internals of makenl, or you can do it yourself as well.               My solution is to keep the setup as you have it, with different working        directories for weeklies and dailies. Create a differnt directory where        the uploads are stored and copy the latest files from this uplodas directory        to the directory where makenl expects them. Perform this copy just prior to        running makenl.               Your only worry is, cleaning this master upload directory.               I have no need for using makenl, but I have a test environment, where I        use the above procedure for making a daily Nodelist, a Wednesday Zone list        and a Friday Nodelist/Nodediff.              Kees              --- FPD v2.9.040207 GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5        * Origin: As for me, all I know is that, I know nothing.
