      At least I have done so. Long before it was evident that MAKENL was not Y2K   
   compliant I used DEBUG to patch it:

      Not only did I correct all the Y2K related bugs, but I also removed all the   
   character checking code. If you take a look at the present nodelist at 2:203/6   
   you will se a permanent test, showing how far the extended ASCII will   
   propagate. For now it's not made it from my region segment to Wards zone   
   segment, but I'm still hoping it will eventually make it.   
      
      After that, I managed to pick up an obscure, German project, with reverse   
   engineering of MakeNl, providing the C code for the program. I managed to   
   shake out some serious bugs from this C code, and also made make files for the   
   most popular platforms -- including one for the Amiga! :)   
      
      As usual, some Z1 people immediately tried to take over the entire project,   
   and eventually I got tired of their power games and left the project.   
      
      The project in question being this very one...
