   Right. I guess I was just trying to cover both sides of the issue while it was   
   being brought up. Thought the second part of it wasn't really on topic, or   
   related to the echo. So I apologize. :)   
      
   Basically, makenl will have to be updated to support high ascii at minimum.   
   Complete UTF-8 support would be good as well, but probably not necessary if the   
   high ascii support was added.    
      
   Granted, how will some mailers and/or tossers that require processing of a   
   nodelist accept this?
