      No need to. My Y2K patched version is well known all over the Fidonet   
   world, and has been used by nodelist clerks ever since I first announced it's   
   existence 13 years ago. Only a few, hard core conservatives insisted on using   
   the old Y2K faulty version for all those years.

      Absolutely not incompatible -- if that was the case, many of the entries in   
   the R20 part of the nodelist would be deleted a long time ago. I know that   
   many *Cs in Z1 have been using my Y2K patched version ever since I first   
   mentioned it in the dying years of the last century.
