Hi,              On 08 Nov 12 21:00, mark lewis wrote to Wilfred van Velzen:        about: "Bug found in osmscfnd.c":               WvV>> In line 15 of osmscfnd.c it says:               WvV>> if (pff->handle == 0)               WvV>> This should be:               WvV>> if (pff->handle == -1)               WvV>> Because _findfirst() returns a -1 on error:               ml> or if (pff->handle > -1)               ml> right?? do we want to look for a specific equal result or do we want to        ml> look for a result greater than -1??              The specs clearly say it returns -1 on error. So other negative values could       be valid handle values.              I have looked at the source code for a range of Borland and Embarcadero       compilers of the _findfirst function. They just return the -1 on error, no       other values. Of course it doesn't mean that compilers of other brands do the       same, but it's a little evidence. ;)              Bye, Wilfred.                     --- FMail-W32-1.64-B20111120        * Origin: Amiga Offline BBS Lisse (2:280/464)    |
