    I agree with your logic. I mainly look at MakeNL_ng and I have Ben Bakers   
    version around as reference. I ran the current nodelist at all levels with   
    AllowUnpub=0 with makenl 3.2.18 and nothing barfed.

    Well then I commend all maintainers that cleaned the code to its current   
    state.   
      
    By the way, you could move "case LEVEL_HOLD" and "case LEVEL_DOWN" into   
    one "case" now.
