    Tried builds of the same debian source package that I've been running   
   (3.2.9-1) on my current installs as noted above and ended up with only the   
   same warnings as I've already noted. (Haven't tried it for v3.2.9a yet   
   because I haven't yet created a source archive for it.)   
      
    I could quote to you the full output of "gcc -v" for either or both of
