   The first few lines of the CTL file would be comments describing the test.   
      
   I was going to suggest that tests could possibly be combined, although (1) I'm   
   not sure this is needed, (2) it could get quite complicated to trace what   
   tests are being performed & (3) it looks like the CTL file doesn't have an   
   INCLUDE command anyway. So, probably best to run each test individually.   
      
   A makefile in the test directory would allow each test to be run   
   independently, or all tests at once just by running 'make'.
