One of the       commands that has will create an archive directly from the code repository; it       includes the commit id it's being created from directly in the archive. which       can be either in zip or tar.gz format. How the id is stored in the archive is       different for the two formats; I don't think either can be used directly (the       one for a zip archive, for instance, is stored in the zip comment which would       be lost if the archive is distributed via the Filegate) but I figure there       should be some way to use either to create a distribution archive with the       commit id information.               I haven't done more than think a bit about this because still need to get       the CVS repository (the primary one) mirrored into a git repository that is       also online there at the SF project.                             Jame              --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag        * Origin: Rocasa BBS (1:120/546)    |
