   This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by   
   NC1L, PY2EV, the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL,

   sites.  Thanks to all.   
      
   CYPRUS, 5B.  Anton, RT9T is QRV as 5B/RT9T until July 18 while on   
   holiday.  This includes an entry in the IARU HF World Championship.   
   QSL to home call.   
       
   ALGERIA, 7X.  Special event stations 7T50I, 7U50I, 7V50I, 7W50I and   
   7Y50I are QRV until December 31 in celebration of the 50th   
   anniversary of the independence of Algeria.  QSL all calls via   
   7X2ARA.   
      
   WEST MALAYSIA, 9M2.  Alex, SQ9UM, will be QRV as 9M2/SQ9UM from July   
   13 to 15.  Activity will be on 40 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and   
   RTTY.  This includes an entry in the IARU HF World Championship.   
   QSL to home call.   
      
   PAKISTAN, AP.  A group of operators will be QRV as AP2ARS from the   
   Swat district from July 13 to 15.  Activity will be on 40 and 20   
   meters, including some satellite operation.  QSL direct.   
      
   TAIWAN, BV.  Alex, KU1CW is QRV as BW2/KU1CW.  This includes an   
   entry in the IARU HF World Championship.  QSL via LoTW only.   
      
   ETHIOPIA, ET.  Club station ET3AA has been active on 17 meters using   
   SSB daily between 0700 and 1500z.  QSL direct.   
      
   JERSEY, GJ.  Look for M0CFW to be QRV as MJ0CFW from July 13 to 15.   
   This includes being a Single Op/Mixed Mode/Low Power entry in the   
   IARU HF World Championship.  QSL to home call.   
      
   SOLOMON ISLANDS, H4.  Vadym, UT6UD is QRV as H44UD from New Georgia   
   Island, IOTA OC-149, until July 17.  Activity is holiday style using   
   mainly CW during his evenings and mornings.  QSL to home call.   
      
   ECUADOR, HC.  Members of the Quito Radio Club will be QRV as   
   HD081QRC from July 14 to 22 in celebration of the 81st anniversary   
   of the founding of the Quito Radio Club.  Activity will be on all   
   bands using CW and SSB.  QSL via HC1JQ.   
      
   JAPAN, JA.  Special event station 8J6OKAJO is QRV until December 31   
   to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Oka Province Castle Town in   
   the prefecture Oita on Kyushu, IOTA AS-077.  QSL via bureau.   
      
   PAPUA NEW GUINEA, P2.  Drew, K9QV is QRV as P29VAC from Port   
   Moresby.  Activity of late has been on 20 meters.  His length of   
   stay is unknown.  QSL to home call.   
      
   BRAZIL, PY.  Special event station PS1J will be QRV from July 15 to   
   20 during the 5th National Scout Jamboree being held in Rio de   
   Janeiro.  Activity will be on all contest bands with multiple   
   stations near the usual scouting frequencies.  QSL via PY1AA.   
      
   CANADA, VE.  Members of the Hamilton Amateur Radio Club and the 1812   
   Special Committee will be QRV as special event station XM31812 from   
   July 13 to 15 to commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812.   
   QSL via VE3ATX.   
      
   VENEZUELA, YV.  Members of the DX Group Caracas are QRV as YW5B from   
   La Blanquilla Island, IOTA SA-037, until July 16.  Activity is on   
   160 to 2 meters using CW, SSB, FM and various digital modes.  QSL   
   via DM4TI.   
                
   OPERATIONS APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operations are   
   approved for DXCC credit:  Rwanda, 9X0PY, operation for December 24,   
   2011 through January 7, 2012; Bangladesh, operations for 1994 and   
   1995, 1998 and 1999.  If you had any of these operations rejected in   
   a recent submission, please send an email to bmoore@arrl.org to   
   be put on a list for an update.   
        
   THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The IARU HF World Championship, QRP CW   
   Fox Hunt, NCCC RTTY Sprint, NCCC Sprint, FISTS Summer CW Sprint and   
   and the CQC Great Colorado CW Gold Rush will certainly keep   
   contesters busy this upcoming weekend.  The Run for the Bacon QRP CW   
   Contest is scheduled for July 16.  Please see July QST, page 77 and   
   the ARRL and WA7BNM Contest Websites for details.
