   maybe it would be beneficial to point out to him that even the AR NEWSLINE   
   uses tinyurl to make the links shorter... not everyone uses a web browser or   
   email program to read their newsletters... some folk are limited to old style   
   text only formats and links longer then some 20 characters are a PITA to type   
   into some sort of retrieval tool... especially on systems where GUI type stuff   
   like copy'n'paste is non-existant... we won't even point to text only systems   
   being read from and other GUI based systems being used for the lookups where   
   typing overly long URLs is really a buggar to deal with ;)
