MALTA, 9H. A group of operators are QRV as 9H9OB until October 22.
Activity is on the HF bands, including 2 meters, using CW, SSB and
digital modes. This includes being an entry in the Worked All
Germany contest. QSL via DH7WW.
PAKISTAN, AP. Ijaz, AP2IA has been active using SSB on 12 meters
from 1200 to 1600z. QSL to home call.
CAPE VERDE, D4. A large group of operators are QRV as D4C until
October 30. This includes an entry in the upcoming CQ WW DX SSB
contest. QSL direct via IZ4DPV.
PHILIPPINES, DU. Hans, DL5SDF is QRV as 4F9HXB from Mindanao
Island, IOTA OC-130, and has been active on 10 meters using CW
around 0000z. QSL to home call.
SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, E5. Bill, N7OU will be QRV as E51NOU from South
Cook, IOTA OC-013, from October 17 to November 7. QSL to home call.
MARQUESAS ISLANDS, FO. A group of operators will be QRV as TX7M
from Nuku Hiva, IOTA OC-027, from October 19 to November 1.
Activity will be mainly on the low HF bands. QSL direct via RZ3EC.
ITALY, I. Look for Scout station II5BP to be QRV during the Scouts
Jamboree On The Air event. QSL via IW5EGT.
PERU, OA. Hans, OE3NHW is QRV as OA6/OE3NHW and is here until March
2012. Activity is on the HF bands. QSL to home call.
SUDAN, ST. Robert is QRV as ST2AR and has been active on 10 meters
using CW around 1430z. QSL via S53R.
UKRAINE, UR. Special event station EM800BZB is QRV until October 16
during the festivities of the 800th anniversary of Zbarazh city.

COCOS (KEELING) ISLANDS, VK9C. Lot, DJ7ZG and Babs, DL7AFS will be
QRV as VK9CX from October 19 to November 9. Activity will be on 80
to 6 meters using SSB, RTTY and PSK. QSL via DL7AFS.
HONG KONG, VR. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the
Centenary of Scouting in Hong Kong, special event station VR100S is
QRV at various times until October 16 from Disneyland in Hong Kong.
Activity is on 20 and 15 meters using SSB. QSL via VR2HKS.
INDIA, VU. Special event station AT8BSG will be QRV from October 15
and 16 during the Scouts Jamboree On The Air event. QSL via
operators' instructions.
NIUE, ZK2. Chris, GM3WOJ will be QRV as ZK2V beginning October 15.
This includes entries in the upcoming CQ WW DX SSB and CW contests.

ANTARCTICA. Gerard, ZS6KX is now QRV as ZS7KX from Queen Maud Land,
IOTA AN-016, until February 2012. Activity is currently on 20
meters using SSB around 1400z. He plans to be active on 17 meters
as well. QSL to home call.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The 54th Jamboree On The Air, JARTS
World Wide RTTY Contest, 10-10 International Fall CW Contest, NCCC
Sprint, CQ SA SSB Contest, QRP ARCI Fall QSO CW Party, New York QSO
Party, Iowa QSO Party, Worked All Germany Contest, PODXS 070 Club
160-Meter Great Pumpkin Sprint, Feld Hell Sprint, Asia-Pacific Fall
CW Sprint, UBA ON 2-Meter Contest and the Illinois QSO Party are all
scheduled for this weekend. The ARRL School Club Roundup runs from
October 17 to 21. The Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest is scheduled
