   This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by   
   NC1L, the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL, Contest   
   Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.

   LESOTHO, 7P.  Frans, ZS4FM and Brendon, ZS4DEF are QRV as 7P8FM and   
   7P8DEF, respectively, until August 9.  Activity is on 160 to 10   
   meters using only SSB from 0500 to 0800z and then from 1400 to   
   2200z.  QSL to home calls.   
       
   MALTA, 9H.  Walter, ON7PX is QRV as 9H3PW running QRP power until   
   August 12.  Activity is on 40 to 6 meters.  QSL to home call.   
        
   NEPAL, 9N.  Fernando, WP4FE is QRV as 9N1FE from Banepa while on   
   work assignment in a mission hospital.  He is active in his spare   
   time, generally on 20 meters.  QSL via operator's instructions.   
      
   BOLIVIA, CP.  Rene, DF9GR is QRV as CP6/DF9GR until August 20.   
   Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK.  QSL via   
   bureau.   
      
   MADEIRA ISLANDS, CT3.  John, IZ2DPX will be QRV as CT9/IZ2DPX from   
   August 7 to 21.  Activity will be on all HF bands, and possibly 6   
   meters.  QSL to home call.   
      
   BALEARIC ISLANDS, EA6.  Jordi, EA3PT will be QRV as EA6/EA3PT from   
   Menorca, IOTA EU-004, from August 8 to 21.  Activity is holiday   
   style on 40 to 10 meters using SSB.  He may be active mainly on 17   
   meters.  QSL to home call.   
      
   JAPAN, JA.  Yoshi, JJ8DEN will be QRV as JJ8DEN/8 from Yagishiri   
   Island, IOTA AS-147, on August 6 and 7.  Activity will be on 40 to 6   
   meters using CW, RTTY, PSK31 and JT65A.  QSL to home call.   
      
   DENMARK, OZ.  Ric, DL2VFR will be QRV as OZ0FR/p from Aero, IOTA   
   EU-172, from August 6 to 19.  Activity is on the HF bands using   
   mainly CW.  He may also visit the Skjoldnes and Soby Havn   
   Lighthouses for a few hours.  QSL to home call.   
      
   REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN.  The ST0R operation from Juba continues   
   until August 10.  Activity is on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and   
   RTTY with five stations active simultaneously.  QSL direct via   
   EA5RM.   
      
   MOUNT ATHOS, SV/A.  Monk Apollo, SV2ASP/A has been QRV on 20, 10 and   
   6 meters using SSB around 1800z each day.  QSL to home call.   
      
   BENIN, TY.  A group of operators will be QRV as TY1KS from August 6   
   to 15.  Activity will be on all HF bands, including 6 meters, using   
   CW, SSB and RTTY with two stations active.  QSL via IZ7KHR.   
      
   EUROPEAN RUSSIA, UA.  Nick, RA1QQ is QRV as RA1QQ/1 from Malyy   
   Island, IOTA EU-162, until August 10.  This includes a visit to the   
   Kandalakshskiy Lighthouse, ARLHS ERU-162.  He may visit other   
   islands and lighthouses as well.  QSL to home call.   
      
   BELIZE, V3.  Colin, KU5B is QRV as V31UB until August 10.  Activity   
   is on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL   
   direct to home call.   
      
   MEXICO, XE.  Andrea, IZ2LSC will be QRV as XF3/IZ2LSC from Isla de   
   Mujeres, IOTA NA-045, from August 9 to 15.  Activity is on the HF   
   bands.  QSL via bureau.   
      
   ANTARCTICA.  Gerard, ZS6KX is QRV as ZS6KX/7 from the SANAE IV Base.   
   Activity has been on 20 meters using SSB between 1400 and 1700z.   
   QSL to home call.   
      
   THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  ARRL UHF Contest, 10-10 International   
   Summer SSB Contest, North American CW QSO Party, QRP CW Fox Hunt,   
   NCCC CW Sprint Ladder, TARA Grid Dip PSK and RTTY Shindig, European   
   HF Championship, RSGB RoPoCo 80-Meter CW contest, SARL HF Phone   
   Contest are all scheduled for this upcoming weekend.  The NAQCC   
   Straight Key/Bug CW Sprint, RSGB 80-Meter Club CW Sprint, NAQCC-EU   
   Monthly CW Sprint and CWops Mini-CWT CW Test are scheduled for

   Users and sysops with materials appropriate for distribution   
   via the ham-fdn should contact the coordinator for submission   
   guidelines at the above shown address.  IF you have access to   
   shareware programs that would be useful to radio amateurs,   
   or other files which may be appropriate use the back channel   
   area to submit them.  IF you are not sure how to accomplish this   
   contact the fdn coordinator, or ask your local bbs sysop.
