   This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by   
   JG2GSY, NC1L, The Daily DX, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, Contest Corral   
   from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.  Thanks

   MALDIVES, 8Q.  Vlad, RA9LR will be QRV as 8Q7LR from June 21 to July   
   2.  Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using mostly digital modes   
   with some SSB.  QSL direct to UA9LP.   
      
   ST. MARTIN, FS.  John, K9EL will be QRV as FS/K9EL from June 20 to   
   July 3.  Activity will be on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and some   
   RTTY.  QSL to home call.   
      
   MARQUESAS ISLANDS, FO.  Operator F6CTL will be QRV as FO/F6CTL from   
   Ua Pou and Ua Huka, both IOTA OC-027, from June 18 to 22 and then   
   June 22 to 26.  He will be active in his spare time on the HF bands   
   using SSB and some digital modes.  QSL to home call.   
      
   JERSEY, GJ.  Members of the Bristol Contest Group will be QRV as   
   GJ6YB/p during the IARU 50 MHz contest.  QSL via G3SWH.   
      
   LIECHTENSTEIN, HB0.  Operators DL4ML, DG1SFJ, DJ8KI and DL4MP will   
   be QRV as HB0/home calls near Steg from June 18 to 21.  Activity   
   will be on all HF bands including 6 and 2 meters during sporadic-E   
   propagation.  QSL to home calls.   
      
   MARIANA ISLANDS, KH0.  Tony, JA6CNL is QRV as KH0N from Saipan, IOTA   
   OC-086, until June 21.  Activity is generally on 80 meters, and the   
   newer bands, using CW.  He plans to be an entry in the All Asian DX   
   CW contest.  QSL to home call.   
      
   SABA ISLAND, PJ6.  Operators K5AND, K5TR and W5OZI will be QRV as   
   PJ6D from June 23 to July 6.  Activity will be mainly on 6 meters   
   using CW and SSB with some HF operation.  They will also use JT65   
   for EME skeds on 50210 kHz.  QSL via operators' instructions.   
      
   SWEDEN, SM.  Bernd, DL8AAV will be QRV as SD1B/5 from Aspoja Island,   
   IOTA EU-177, from June 19 to July 1.  QSL to home call.   
      
   GREECE, SV.  A group of operators are QRV as J48O from Othonoi   
   Islet, IOTA EU-052, from the Kastri Lighthouse, ARLHS GRE-078, until   
   June 25.  Activity will be on 160 to 2 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY   
   and PSK with 5 stations active.  QSL via SV2FPU.   
      
   PALAU, T8.  Nao, JK1FNL will be QRV as T88NA from June 18 to 20.   
   QSL to home call.   
      
   CORSICA, TK.  Operators IW2IGA and IK2WZM will be QRV as TK/home   
   calls from June 18 to 25.  Activity will be on 80 to 10 meters using   
   SSB and digital modes.  QSL to home calls.   
      
   ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA, V2.  Operators K9UK, W9DR and W9AEB are QRV as   
   V25DD, V25DR and V25TP, respectively, from Antigua, IOTA NA-100,   
   until June 28.  Activity is on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and   
   PSK31.  QSL to home calls.   
      
   UK SOVEREIGN BASE AREAS ON CYPRUS, ZC.  Mike, KF6RCP is QRV as   
   ZC4MIS for the next four months while on holiday.  Activity is   
   mainly on 20 meters using SSB, PSK31 and JT65.  QSL to home call.   
      
   ST. HELENA, ZD7.  Nigel, G3TXF will be QRV as ZD7XF from June 22 to   
   30.  Activity will be mainly on the HF bands using CW.  This may   
   include 160, 80 and 6 meters as well.  QSL to home call.   
      
   SPECIAL EVENT DATE CORRECTION.  It was reported in DX bulletin   
   ARLD023 that special event stations in Japan using 8J1MORSE are   
   active to celebrate the 220th birthday of Samuel F.B. Morse.  The   
   call signs are valid until November 30, 2011, NOT December 31, 2011.   
      
   THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  Kid's Day SSB Contest, All Asian DX CW   
   Contest, Stew Perry Topband CW Challenge, IARU Region 1 50 MHz   
   Contest, NCCC Sprint CW Ladder, SMIRK Contest, AGCW VHF/UHF CW   
   Contest, West Virginia QSO Party, Feld Hell Sprint and the WAB 50   
   MHz Phone are all scheduled for this upcoming weekend.  The Run for   
   the Bacon QRP CW Contest is scheduled for June 20 The SKCC CW   
   Sprint, CWops Mini-CWT CW Test and NAQCC Straight Key/Bug CW Sprint   
   are scheduled for June 22.  Please see June QST, page 84, and the   
   ARRL and WA7BNM contest web sites for details.

   designated a global "center of activity" frequency  in  each   
   of  the  international  hf  bands.  THese are similar to the   
   concept for weak signal calling and other center of activity   
   frequencies.  Three of these have been ratified worldwide.   
      
   THese  center of activity frequencies are where stations can   
   go to render or obtain emergency assistance.   
      
   WHen casually operating or  contesting  on  hf  please  make   
   yourself  aware  of  these  frequencies,  and give them some   
   space. Remember that often stations with emergency needs are   
   not  those  utilizing  high  gain antennas and maximum legal   
   power.
