Formerly the Emergency Broadcast System.       A system where at first an attention tone is transmitted over all       stations, add the second tone, followed with specific instructions       regarding the receivable frequency in the local, regional, or       national emergency. The EAS is activated during severe weather       warnings, chemical spill incidents, dam breaks, etc. Previously       known as the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS).              EBS       Emergency Broadcast System. See Emergency Alert System.              EEPROM       Electronically Erasable and Programmable Read Only Memory              EHF       (extremely high frequency). The frequency range 30-300 GHz.              EME       "Earth-Moon-Earth" communication; moonbounce; using the moon as a       reflector to "bounce" your signal back down to Earth. Often called RFI (Radio Frequency       Interference).              Emission       Transmission of a signal.              Encryption       Transmitting cryptic form so that only certain people understand       what has been sent.
