I know Mike P likely got burned out and we were too impatient for new   
   releases, and gameport is more of an   
   absent landlord.   
      
   But maybe Gameport could of offered door32 win32/linux/os2 versions for like   
   an extra five bucks and good things could of happen to make the game alive for   
   future generations.
