NOpe, he told 'em to bill his credit card if that ran out
before I'd been able to make contact. I made contact that
MOnday morning next, (was SAturday when I learned of all
this) and arranged for her to have her booster vaccinations
too. Those were supposed to be taken care of the day
   Katrina hit.

YEp, and that's why dog was chained outside, instead of in.
TWo of my neighbors were built on stilts. Landlord swore up and down when his
dad lived there it never flooded, but
again, two of my neighbors built on stilts. sO, dog was
outside, food and water in dutch ovens hid underneath the
porch, but if she had to swim she had enough cable to reach
the roof. AS it was, if she'd remained inside the trees
falling on the place and crushing it would have got her
   anyway.

Thing is, the sound reinforcement system would have survived if I'd left it at
our church, but the Friday before when
we'd been in NEw ORleans we'd gotten my whole sr system,
racks stacks mixer and all from the church's fellowship hall and brought it
home. Had it remained in the church's
fellowship hall it would have survived, high and dry ready
for me to come get. From my days as consistory president I
still had a key to the sanctuary and the combination to the
   fellowship hall door.

   Regards,
              Richard
