Many of these manuals don't feel like field       manuals       (like early D&D books) but rather stuff made to be read at home. IN fact I       tipically       keep the manuals at home and take cheap photocopies to the table. This       behavious is       encouraged by the publishers.              You can see a similar effect in boardgames. Gamers prefer a game to have big       plastic       detailed figurines rather than cardboard tokens even if that means they pay       premium       for it.              What I mean is that there is a niche for hobbyists who are willing to spend       loads of       money without a need for it.              --       gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken       --- SBBSecho 3.15-Linux        * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (1:123/115)       SEEN-BY: 1/21 120 3/1 18/0 80/1 88/0 90/1 92/0 1 123/0 115 3001 153/757       SEEN-BY: 221/6 222/2 229/114 426 240/1120 250/1 301/1 460/58 712/848       SEEN-BY: 712/1321 900/108 902/19 25 26 27 920/0 1 69 2320/105 3634/0       SEEN-BY: 3634/12 56 57 5020/1042       PATH: 123/115 3634/12 153/757 92/1 90/1 229/426       /    |
