   I am sure that a 3B+ works well and a lot better with a HDD as boot.   
      
   I only use a SD to source the o/s then switch to a USB connected HDD via X850   
   board and case, works well but I don't have it running often as stick to a AMD   
   8 core and Linux for my bread and butter work.
