   I decided to follow your lead and get used to the mouse cut `n paste   
   commandline thingy.  I liken it to 'a chamber of sober second thought' nothing   
   like the Canadian Senate but I couldn't come up with anything better at the   
   moment.   
      
   The above kernel took around 38 minutes, building and packaging (tar.xz), on a   
   16 penguin EPYC processor.  The fastest I currently have - a 16 penguin Ryzen   
   7 - accomplished the same task in roughly 33 minutes.
