   I have seen that when I had error in my golded.cfg or a bad path. Is there a   
   log left behind at all, golded.log or something similar. If so it might give   
   you a clue as to the problem.   
      
   If the build finished and left you with a gedlnx I would think it would run,   
   given a good golded.cfg.
