   That is a ncurses compatibility issue.  golded probably requires ncurses-5   
   which has become obsolete as of late.  See https://www.linuxfrom   
   cratch.org/lfs/view/development/chapter08/ncurses.html for an excellent   
   schpiel on how to potentially fix it.
