      MSGID: 2:240/12 6251c195       TZUTC: 0200       CHRS: LATIN-1 2       TID: hpt/fbsd 1.9 2021-12-02       Hello *!              I have an Intel-based mainboard with build-in gpios that I'd like to use.       However, I cannot get the kernel (5.16) to recognise the chip (NXP PCA9554).       To my understanding, this should be supported with the gpio_pca953x kernel       module. Upon loading this, the kernel reports no device or chip found, so all       further actions via /sys/class/gpio/ or gpioinfo return nothing.              Any ideas what I might be missing here?                     Regards,       Gerrit              ... 6:34PM up 50 days, 23:40, 8 users, load averages: 0.52, 0.52, 0.45              --- msged/fbsd 6.3 2021-12-02        * Origin: We are the second generation (2:240/12)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/0 19/10 38 90/1 105/81 106/201 633 987 114/709 120/340       SEEN-BY: 123/131 124/5014 5016 129/305 330 331 130/330 153/7715 218/700       SEEN-BY: 226/30 227/114 229/110 111 206 317 400 424 426 428 452 470       SEEN-BY: 229/550 616 664 700 266/512 280/464 282/1038 292/854 317/3       SEEN-BY: 320/219 322/757 342/200 387/25 26 396/45 460/58 633/280 712/848       PATH: 240/12 1120 280/5003 464 396/45 229/426           |
