   You should be more detailed. At first you talked about old distro, now we are   
   talking about old systems. The first is software, the second is hardware and   
   software in my understanding.

   I don't see how we could be helpful. If you have an old computer a virtual   
   machine would not be working. I put an old windows95 programm into a   
   VirtualBox VM and it sill works well but it doesn't need to be online.   
      
   To keep in touch with online services you need to update to supported   
   protocols. The only option i see if you have really no other option to migrate   
   your system is a gateway server that can talk to the actual world with the   
   latest security protocols and translates the data to the outdated ex-standards.
