   It won't happen.  Also libc, kernel headers, etc. will determine how far one   
   could gradually upgrade and then I doubt that would be that far removed from   
   gcc 2.97 given hardware limitations.  Do you know of anyone who has attempted   
   this?  You're the only one I know of that even brings the subject of amiga and   
   linux compatibilty up.
