Looking forward to meaningful discussion.              I've heard that Debian is more "stable" than Ubuntu, but what is meant by       that? I haven't had any issues with Ubuntu crashing, and I've used what feels       like a ton of software with it.              I'm interested in Debian because I'm assuming it's lighter and faster than       Ubuntu, but I'm reluctant because I'm concerned about compatibility when I       move files from an Ubuntu machine to a Debian one. Should that be a concern?              --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A45 2020/02/18 (Linux/64)        * Origin: CompuBBS | Ashburn VA | cfbbs.scinet-ftn.org (1:275/99)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/0 16/101 19/36 20/4609 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/127       SEEN-BY: 106/201 116/18 120/331 340 123/131 140 124/5016 128/2 153/105       SEEN-BY: 153/135 141 757 802 6809 7001 7715 154/10 203/0 218/700 221/0       SEEN-BY: 221/1 6 242 360 222/2 226/30 227/114 702 229/101 424 426       SEEN-BY: 229/452 550 616 664 1016 1017 230/150 152 240/1120 5832 249/110       SEEN-BY: 249/206 317 400 250/1 261/38 100 1466 266/512 267/67 155       SEEN-BY: 275/0 89 91 93 95 98 99 100 101 201 301 280/464 5003 282/1031       SEEN-BY: 282/1056 288/100 291/100 111 292/854 8125 310/31 317/3 320/119       SEEN-BY: 320/219 322/757 335/364 340/400 341/66 342/17 200 396/45       SEEN-BY: 423/81 120 633/280 640/1321 712/848 770/1 801/161 189 2320/105       SEEN-BY: 2452/250 3634/12 4500/1 5020/545 715 1042       PATH: 275/99 100 261/38 153/757 221/6 1 280/464 229/101 426           |
