We both should be due for a gcc upgrade in the next couple of weeks or so as
the GNU people are threatening with a gcc-8 release soon. Currently there are
two release candidates, the latest dated April 27. The development branch is
still frozen last time I looked. We shouldn't have too much longer to wait
but I am happy to see we're both up to speed and in sync with the latest
kernel version even though our respective development enviroments are
completely independent and optimized to our own specialized requirements.
Having said that I am positive that your packages could be dropped on any
x86_64 given your host - x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu - as well as the
   "-mtune=generic" gcc optimization.

One of us had to do it.

   Life is good,
   Maurice
