   The default driver is the open source driver.  If you want full use of    
   the card's hardware (3d acceleration, etc) you have to install the    
   proprietary driver.  Google searching for "ubuntu dapper ati driver"    
   turned up

   Getting the TV out to work may be harder (I use NVidia so can't help too    
   much there) getting dual head set ups to work properly seems to be more    
   of a struggle.  It took manually editing my xorg.conf to get my setup    
   working.  It seems like ATI has some configuration software that might    
   help though.
