   That should not be a problem. I'd suggest using gparted from a Live CD or   
   the Gparted Live CD itself to do the partitioning. You can't do it from   
   your Ubuntu install because the partition must be unmounted to muck with   
   it.   
      
   Do the partitioning (you only need one swap partition) and then do the   
   feather install - it probably will not set up the dual boot - you might   
   check their web site docs first to verify. If it appears that it will not,   
   then try to keep it from overwriting the MBR. Then boot ubuntu and add a   
   stanza to /boot/grub/menu.lst - by looking at what's already there you   
   should be able to figure out what to add - if not, come back and ask. It's   
   really quite simple once you've been through it a dozen times or so.
