   I'm not familiar with Vista but generally it is better to install    
   Microslop's software first (assuming that you have a spare hard drive    
   partition remaining for Linux). Then start the Ubuntu dual boot which will    
   move the boot sector and replace it with the Grub boot loader and proceed    
   with the install. (This way Vista won't see Linux.)
