   I am in contact with the local phone company here in Nevada (AT&T) and   
   they seem to insist that I need to be running windows to install their   
   modem into my network.   
      
   They specify W2K, XP or Mac as required to install and use their   
   service.  I tell them that a browser is a browser, but they are just   
   reading off their instruction sheet.   
      
   Does anyone know of a contact within AT&T that has some knowledge.
