X-Trace: DXC=CW54K<@ooAld@DHL^ Which would you recommend: Ubuntu or Mint?

In general, linux distros are far far more configurable than Win. Mint
is a configured and 'enhanced' Ubuntu. If you wanted to customize Ub,
you could customize Ub to be [just like] Mint.

Then you are in a good position to see the similarities and features of
each. I have downloaded the Beatrice 2.2 014 beta of Mint but I haven't
installed it, and I'm still using Ub 6.06, so you are ahead of me.

   > How to decide between them?

I would imagine that you would need to enhance or customize Feisty with
codecs in order to appreciate various multimedia.

   > Please help me to make an informed choice.

Why not use both of them in some way.
